Analysing your Coaching
Pro-Active London are running a number of practical workshops across the London area throughout March.
The overall aim of each workshop is to help coaches improve their ability to analyse their coaching. It aims to provide coaches with an outline of the analysis process, and then gives them the opportunity to practice using this process to analyse their own coaching performance using practical coaching tasks.
By the end of this workshop coaches should be able to:
- Recognise analysis as a systematic process and identify the steps involved
- Construct a checklist of coaching behaviours that reflect skilled performance in their current coaching situation
- Identify some of the methods and tools used to carry out observation and analysis
- Use a checklist to analyse their coaching performance
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in their coaching performance
- Select possible strategies and actions to improve their coaching
- Outline what they will do to move forward with their coaching
Open only to London residents or Clubs, this is a fairly generic course but it may be of interest to people.
