Raising Money for the RNLI
On the 30th January 2009, a crew from the RNLI at Chiswick will be travelling the 22 miles from Teddington Lifeboat Station to the Tower of London.
However, their trip, which aims to raise money in aid of the RNLI, will not use their normal mode of transport - instead they will be covering the distance ON FOOT, along the Thames Path, whilst wearing full RNLI Protective Equipment - Drysuits, LIfejackets, Helmets, Boots, etc
It should be quite a sight, and a gruelling 8 or 9 hour journey.
The crew have set up a "Just Giving" page - the link is below.
Please have a look at support them with any amount you can.

Justgiving sends your donation straight to RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
