Racing in the Thames Region
With over 40% of the ARA's membership within our borders, it's not surprising that the Thames region also plays host to a large number of races including head races, regattas and bumps racing.
Event organisers are reminded that the Regional Council must agree any proposals for new regattas or heads before they are considered by the National Competition Committee.
Organisers cannot just feeel they can choose a date and organise an event on it, as the impact on existing events, both within the region and in neighbouring regions, must be considered.
Those considering starting up a new head or regatta should contact the TRRC Chairman.
